Rebecca Mead

Visiting Lecturer in the Humanities Council; McGraw Professor of Writing (Fall 2017)

Rebecca Mead is a staff writer at The New Yorker. She has profiled many subjects and written more than a hundred Talk of the Town stories.

The author of My Life in Middlemarch and One Perfect Day: The Selling of the American Wedding, she previously worked as a journalist for New York magazine and The Sunday Times of London.
