A conversation with Kathleen Kingsbury, head of Opinion, The New York Times

The Princeton University Program on Science and Global Security, part of the School of Public and International Affairs, invites you to join a conversation with Kathleen Kingsbury, head of the Opinion section at The New York Times, on the renewed global threat of nuclear weapons, the current state of democracy and the role of journalism.

Under the leadership and direction of Kathleen, in 2024 Times Opinion began publishing At the Brink, a major series on the dangers of nuclear weapons. A year later, where are we now, and what can be done to ensure a safer world for the next generation?

This event is free and open to the public. It is organized by the Program on Science and Global Security and co-sponsored by the School of Public and International Affairs and the Program on Journalism.

Please RSVP by April 8 at this LINK.
