Nadja Drost

Visiting Lecturer in the Humanities Council; Ferris Professor of Journalism (Spring 2023)

Nadja Drost is a Pulitzer Prize- and Emmy Award-winning journalist with experience in narrative print, television and radio. She files mostly from Latin America, often as a special correspondent for the PBS NewsHour. Currently, she is co-directing a feature-length documentary about a woman rebel commander in Colombia’s FARC who lays down arms. Drost’s past work can be found in The California Sunday Magazine, The Atavist, TIME and Maclean’s, and on the CBC, BBC and Guardian Films.
