Pico Iyer has worked as a journalist since 1982, and his writing from locations such as North Korea, Cuba, Yemen, and Easter Island appears constantly in TIME, The New York Times, The New York Review of Books, Vanity Fair, and Granta. He has authored 12 books, with three more to be published next year, and they have been translated into 23 languages.
Iyer has also recently delivered three TED Talks that have been seen by more than seven million viewers so far.
