Filmmaker and radio host Obaidah Zytoon captures the fate of Syria through the intimate lens of a small circle of friends and journalists in The War Show. Beginning with peaceful Arab Spring protests in 2011, the film provides a four-year, ground-level look at how the country spiraled into bloody civil war. Running time: 1 hour, 30 minutes. Part of the Princeton Public Library’s Syrian Perspectives Series.
Co-sponsored by the library and American Documentary/POV and presented with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
