Stacey Vanek Smith has been a correspondent and host for NPR’s Planet Money since 2014. She conceived of and reported the show’s series on crude oil, which was nominated for a 2017 Loeb Award, and produced a two-part investigative series on demonetization in India. She hosted All Things Considered during the Charlottesville demonstrations in 2017.
A former student in the journalism program, Smith was also previously a correspondent, senior producer, and editor for Marketplace.
