The Humanities Council’s Program in Journalism hosted a panel discussion yesterday afternoon featuring visiting Ferris Professors of Journalism Carol Giacomo and Suzy Hansen and professors Kim Lane Scheppele and Gary Bass from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, which co-sponsored the event. More than 100 people came to hear the panelists discuss the important topic of “Perilous Reporting: The Growing Threat to Journalists in the Field.” The University’s social media team live-tweeted from the event and The Daily Princetonian featured it on the front page of today’s issue.
