Carol Giacomo

Visiting Lecturer in the Humanities Council; Ferris Professor of Journalism (Spring 2020)

Carol Giacomo is a member of The New York Times’ editorial board and writes on foreign and defense policy. Responsible for many of the editorials that argue the paper’s position on leading national security issues, she regularly travels to report from such places as North Korea, Iran, and Myanmar. In her previous role as a diplomatic correspondent for Reuters, she traveled over one million miles to more than 100 countries. This is her second time teaching in Princeton’s journalism program.
