Errin Whack

Visiting Lecturer in the Humanities Council; Ferris Professor of Journalism (Fall 2019)

Errin Whack is The Associated Press’ national writer on race and ethnicity, covering the intersection of race, politics, culture, identity, and other topics. Based in Philadelphia, she has also written about community policing, gun violence, minority activism, the black electorate, and urban policy. Whack was previously a reporter for The Washington Post and The Orlando Sentinel, and has won awards from both the National and Philadelphia Associations of Black Journalists.
