Will Englund is a foreign assignment editor at The Washington Post, where he directs the paper’s coverage of Russia, other former Soviet states, and East Asia. He has reported from more than 22 countries in Europe, Africa, and Asia, and previously worked for The Baltimore Sun and as a White House correspondent for National Journal.

Englund has received a Pulitzer Prize and an Overseas Press Club Award. He is the author of March 1917: On the Brink of War and Revolution.
