Journalism minor Annalisa Jenkins ’27 has been awarded a Udall Scholarship, which recognizes college sophomores and juniors who are “committed to careers in the environment, Tribal public policy, or Native health care.”
Jenkins is a Spanish major with minors in journalism, Latin American studies and environmental studies. Prior to arriving on campus, she participated in the University’s Novogratz Bridge Year Program in Bolivia. At Princeton, she is a research assistant for Justice in View and a project leader with the English as a Second Language El Centro program.
She has received numerous awards including the Kauffmann Fellowship and Banes Family Senior Thesis Award, the Premio Ángel Rama, the Premio Ángel G. Loureiro, and the John C. Bogle ’51 Fellowship in Civic Service.
